New mother sings to her baby in NICU | Mount Sinai Hospital Toronto

At Mount Sinai Hospital - Toronto, our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides care for babies after birth who need special attention. Approximately 1,000 babies are admitted to the NICU each year, most of them born at Mount Sinai Hospital. Physicians, nurses and respiratory therapists who work in the NICU are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The NICU team participates in all births when it is expected that the baby may experience difficulties.
